Claw supports multiple international standards for line rating computation. For this project:
- IEEE 738-2012 is used as the primary standard for ampacity (line rating) calculations.
- CIGRÉ Technical Brochures 601 and 207 are also supported and can be selected as alternatives where relevant.
- For conductor temperature computation, Claw currently applies CIGRÉ 601, with IEEE 738 conductor temperature support coming soon. This multi-standard capability ensures that Claw can be adapted to meet different regulatory requirements or regional utility practices.
